Welcome Message of the Scientific Secretary

Dear Biotechnological Product Manufacturing Community, as Scientific Chairman, I would like to welcome you to participate in the Third International Congress on Biotechnological Product Manufacturing and Regulatory Issues, which will take place from October 8th to October 14th 2023 at the Iberostar Selection Varadero Resort, Cuba.

This congress will combine scientific sections with a relaxing environment available at the Iberostar Selection Varadero Resort. During this time, several inspiring lectures on manufacturing, developing, quality control, validation and regulation of biotechnological products in Cuba, specifically at the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology of Havana, Cuba will be the main reason to gather important decision makers, researchers, manufactures, process automation engineers, system and process engineers, material and reagent suppliers, quality control and quality assurance people, within other participants.

Throughout this congress week, we will have the opportunity to meet and discuss ideas with colleagues to expand the knowledge about how the biotechnological product manufacturing industry has been revolutionized to increase its impact on the future of our process efficiency, economy and life. Therefore, whether you are a student seeking for knowledge and attending your first congress, or an active researcher in the academia or industry, please takes advantage of this opportunity.

Abstract Instructions for Oral Presentations

The Organizing Committee will publish the full scientific program via congress website, the oral presentations will be chosen from submitted abstracts.

Abstracts for should be submitted as follows

Number of words: Abstracts should not exceed 350 words

Font and spacing: Calibri 10pt font and single line spacing

Title: 130 characters (not including spaces) and bold

Authors: Only last name, followed by space and initials (e.g., Valdés R1,). The number of authors is not limited, but the principal author should be differentiated

Affiliations: Each author should be listed by department, institution, city, and country

Title alignment: centered

Author list alignment: centered

Author affiliation alignment: justified

Abstract text alignment: justified

Table, Figures and Graphics: Do not include tables, figures or graphs

Contact: Email address of the presenting author is required; this information should appear below the abstract.

Language: Abstracts most be written in English

Abstract submission deadline (for foreign speakers): 31st August, 2023

Abstract submission deadline (for national speakers): 30th June, 2023

Acceptance deadline: 31st July, 2023

• When sending the abstract please indicate the topic in which you would like to be included. Each author will have the opportunity to send just one abstract. Few exceptions will be approved by the organizing committee.

• The Congress program will also be printed for distribution on site.

Letter for Invitation

For accepted oral presentations speakers, the organizers will provide a formal invitation letter to help with the VISA processing. However, this letter is not intended to imply any financial support from the Congress Organizing Committee.
