Porvac® is a protein subunit vaccine against classical swine fever virus.
Porvac® is a non-replicative vaccine, safe for animals and the environment. Offers quick protection: 5 days after applied. It prevents the transplacental transmission of the virus, which reduces the possibility of carrier animals. It allows to differentiate vaccinated animals from infected animals. Due to its high quality, safety and efficacy, Porvac® can be used in areas where the disease is endemic or has re-emerged.
Oily emulsion containing the E2 antigen of the classical swine fever virus (CSFV) fused to the pig CD154 molecule.
Porvac® has a multidose presentation in high density polyethylene bulbs of 30 mL / 15 doses.
Each 2 mL dose contains 50 µg of E2CD154 antigen (25 µg / mL) in Montanide ISA 50 V2 oil adjuvant.
Store at 2 to 8 °C. Do not freeze.
Porvac® is used in the immunization of pigs for the control of the classical swine fever virus from 15 days of age.
