Jakarta, May 20 (ANTARA) - The president director of the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB) in Cuba, Luis Harrera, is visiting Indonesia at the invitation of the Dharmais Cancer Hospital in Jakarta.
Harrera, known as the architect of Cuban Biotech Industrial Development, arrived in Indonesia on Thursday as part of his tour to some Asian countries, Dharmais Cancer Hospital`s president director Samsuridjal Djauzi said in a press release issued on Thursday.
According to him, Cuba has made tremendous progress in the development of biotech industry, thus enabling the country to produce vaccines and pharmaceuticals and export biotech industrial products.
